Did such a great job at my dad's. They were able to take out some dead branches and clean up his very large maples and cleaned up another that had fallen over. They were professional, responsive and did a great job. You wouldn't even know they were there.. they take clean up to a new level. I didn't even see a leaf left behind.

Anstaetts Tree Service was phenomenal. We had a tree in our backyard that we needed addressed and the crew had some significant work they had to do to get it out, especially since they weren't able to get any equipment into our yard. They ended up taking it out all by hand without damaging any of the fences surrounding the tree. Great work and the owner is amazing with consistent, quick, and thorough communication of the process as well as price. We won't go with any other tree service in Cincinnati and you shouldn't either. Kevin and his assistant were awesome. Tree was pulled over, cut and cleaned everything up. He even did a quick job for my neighbor. The only issue was the unexpected hornet nest. Great job Kevin and thank you.
Anstaett’s Tree Service was great! I reached out for a quote and they were out at my property by 9AM the next day. I had reached out to other tree companies and never heard back, so I appreciated the timely response. Kevin was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. On the day of, the crew was finished around noon and had everything cleaned up just the way it was when they arrived. 10/10 would recommend.

We had a huge tree that was ready to fall at anytime. When I called to see if they could look at the tree they said it would be 4-5 weeks out. I told them I couldn’t wait that long so I was still looking. They showed up the next day anyway to look at the tree. They immediately went into “emergency mode” when they saw how bad the tree was and said they would take it down that afternoon. The price was very reasonable and in less than 2 hours they had it down (between fence posts with no damage) cut up and limbs chipped and the area was immaculate after they were done. I would highly recommend them!!

So glad we went with Anstaetts tree service to have 15 trees removed from our property . Some were dead and some were just on their way out. They were here exactly when they said they would be. They took down a dead tree very close to my house and in the middle of 5 other trees. They took it down so cleanly that they barely nicked one branch of one other tree. Very impressive, especially given how close the other trees are. My yard is completely cleaned up and they were done within an hour. Could not be happier. Absolutely will be recommending to everyone I know.

We had a pine tree on our property close to the house, a fence, a vehicle, another house. Kevin and his amazing crew got it down and cut up within a half an hour, saved 3 unlucky baby squirrels and took them to a rehab they work with. We wanted to keep the wood so they very neatly stacked it up and moved all branches to the back. These guys were not your typical tree guys. Very impressive, I would happily recommend them. I had big black locust trees - ones with thorns. One branch on a tree was big, very close to my house & was split so they couldn’t tie it off. Kevin used his expertise to bring the branch down with no problems. I am very happy with how much better & healthy the trees look after the trim. The crew thoroughly cleaned everything up. I thought that Kevin and his team were top notch in every way! They did a great job with getting the trees down and cleaning up afterwards. They even got a lot of leaves up where they cleaned up the branches that fell from taking down the trees. We couldn’t have been happier with their work!

I recently had 7 trees of various sizes and heights removed. I am 110% satisfied with the work. All debris was removed which was a great benefit. I had a rather large pine tree by the house which had grown into a neighboring pine. This caused the neighboring pine to develop a lot of dead or dying branches. Not only did they take down the tree close to the house, but they removed the dead branches off the neighboring pine, resulting in a much nicer appearance overall. I would recommend Anstaett's to anyone needing tree service.

Anstaett's tree service did a fantastic job. They took out 4 trees. The only way you could tell they were here is the stumps, they left no mess at all. They were very safe and efficient. Their price was about half what other's wanted to charge.
Second time I have used Anstaetts. Just like the first time I was greatly impressed with Alex’s knowledge of trees, explanation of what was necessary to complete the job, and very reasonable price quote. They were able to schedule the job the next day. Showed up on time and cleaned up the area after removing trees. Wow, This company is so accurate. They know how to do a great job. My new home has so many trees in my yard. Black walnut Osage Locust and they have not been trimmed in a long time. They are reasonable in charges. Prompt and swift to complete the task. My dogs were assertive when they first saw the team. In just minutes the dogs were begging for more letting and love ~ Thank you!!!
I've worked for Alex Ansteatt probably 6 different times. Was never a day of work I didn't learn something new or just enjoy his insight. Is very knowledgeable about the services he offers. I've seen him stop on important jobs to take the time to teach me or someone else different aspects of the job. To him he can always make money but it's never more important than to take the time to teach someone how to do things the safest or correct ways.
Alex and his crew did an amazing job from start to finish! I cannot believe the transformation of my yard! They cleared out several trees and pruned a couple. Now, my side and backyard have such an open, airy, clean look. There were even a few areas that they trimmed back that weren’t apart of the original estimate, but they did it anyway! We thought about having a tree taken out of our wood line that was in a wet area and could have eventually fallen on our house. He came and checked it out, cut it down the next day. He is very professional and clearly loves the work he does. Would recommend Anstaett Trees everytime!
I found Anstaetts Tree Service after my husband recently passed away. I did not know what trees needed to come down, trimmed or had disease. I was unsure about what exactly I needed from them. I knew I needed several of the trees removed. I was grieving my husband, crying, just being overwhelmed with everything that had to be done with the estate. I was a mess. I called them and spoke with Alex (Kevin). Very professional, and very knowledgeable about being an arborist. He came out and gave me an estimate. For all the work he was going to do, I got a very reasonable quote. I was worried about my backyard being so wet and the weather predicted more rain. Alex assured me they wouldn't tear my yard up. The day before Alex was to start work, I had a family emergency and was not going to be able to be home, so I called to reschedule my appointment. Alex talked to me about the job, and I agreed to keep the appointment. He explained they had large mats that could be put down to drive on. He worked with me so I didn't have to be home, and I could take care of the family emergency, which was making funeral arrangements for a family member. He assured me he would take care of it. He said he would be at the job at 8:15 am. Well, it was 8:17 am. LOL I was very nervous about not being there, what if something happened? My mind was everywhere that day. I came home with the biggest surprise. I was stunned and started to cry. Alex had completed the job. He took 6 trees down, ground all stumps, cut a large tree that was done from a previous storm plus made my weeping cherry look alive and shaped to look like a weeping cherry. My willow tree had been trimmed and shaped as well. He took out some bushes and other than the chipped wood from the stump grinders the yard was all cleaned up. The brush was all gone, no wood was left lying around, the yard had been raked from the grinding stumps debris, and dirt all raked and leveled up. To my surprise there were no ruts in my yard, I was astonished at how these mats worked. I had called other tree service but they didn't show up to give an estimate. As most of us know customer service ratings are falling fast. From the time I made the call to Alex, he was able to offer me advice on what he thought should be done, yet he never pressured me. He was able to answer my questions. I had Quality Service during this whole journey with Anstaetts. His crew of guys that work for him were all courteous. Clean clothes and not on their cell phones. If you need a tree service give Anstaetts a try! He has very nice equipment, trucks, and the latest tools needed to do the job correctly. The way he keeps his trucks and equipment is a reflection of him and his company, you don't have to do a thing once the guys get there, they do it. I couldn't be more pleased with the work that was done for me. Alex is a special person to me. He took time to talk to me when I needed someone because of my husband's passing and my pain. He treated me with so much kindness and compassion and kept assuring me he would take care of the job. He did exactly what he had stated to me. Thank you Alex and crew for doing a wonderful job and being respectful to me at a time when I didn't know where to turn or who to trust. I am an elderly lady in my 70s not trust many people with so many scams in our world. Anstaetts is at the top of the chart with me. We recently had two very large trees removed by Anstaett's Tree Service. They worked efficiently and took every precaution to protect our house from overhanging branches. We were totally pleased with the professional job they did and won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They even managed to leave our yard in better shape when they left than it was when the arrived!
Respond to my request for an estimate very promptly. Came to my home the same day and provided estimate. The crew worked together and removed a 65’ tree situated between two houses that also involve power lines. It was amazing to watch them climb the tree and remove limbs and large branches and then fell the tree flawlessly. The other tree was trimmed and thinned and has never looked so good. The yard was left so clean you couldn’t tell they had been here. I will use again.

Anstaett’s Tree Service took a huge water maple down in our back yard that had a very large inclusion at the base of the trunk. He mentioned that it was eventually going to cause a problem and could possibly cause a threat of a huge lead to fall on our house. His crew and him did a great job at taking it down safe and the clean up was great! If you want your yard to look better than it did before, your house and surrounding buildings or fences safe I would recommend this company to anyone that needs tree work done.
Highly recommend this company! They removed one tree for us (in a precarious space) and trimmed two others. Unlike other tree companies we've used in the past, they do not indiscriminately hack at the trees, but are thoughtful and deliberate and ask repeatedly if we approve. They care about public safety and the overall health of the tree. And their prices are reasonable. We will be repeat customers for sure!

I recently had 7 trees of various sizes and heights removed. I am 110% satisfied with the work. All debris was removed which was a great benefit. I had a rather large pine tree by the house which had grown into a neighboring pine. This caused the neighboring pine to develop a lot of dead or dying branches. Not only did they take down the tree close to the house, but they removed the dead branches off the neighboring pine, resulting in a much nicer appearance overall. I would recommend Anstaett's to anyone needing tree service.

The most professional and knowledgeable tree service in the city!!! Alex came out on a Sunday and the tree was gone within hours. Talk about fast and no damage to my house or deck and you can’t even tell a tree was there. They not only take trees out but I have a 19 year old Cleveland pear in need of thinning out. It was planted to remember my dad and I would of hated to loose it. He came to take down my tree but also let me know I was in danger of losing another if I did do maintenance. I am super satisfied with the service. I had 2 very large trees trimmed away from the house and roof and a tall sycamore tree removed. The entire process from getting a quote through completing the work went smoothly. The job was done on time and the area cleaned up. The quote detailed every aspect of the job so there was no confusion about what was included. Communication with Anstaett’s all through the process was great. We had a giant tree in the backyard that had about 5 large trees growing out of the one huge stump, during a storm one huge section of the tree fell. I knew it was dangerous for our kids and had seen Kevin (Alex’s) reviews and all of his videos of his work on Facebook. After reading the reviews I felt confident that he would be perfect for the job. I messaged him and he came out the next day to do a quote. Not only did he take care of the giant tree but he also said they could take care of all of the weeds/small trees/honeysuckle going along our back and side fence lines. The lady who lived here before us was in a gardening club and I have not been able to keep up with all of her plants in the backyard. Kevin (Alex) and his team gave us an amazing price to get it all cleaned up, came out, even in the middle of tornado weather, they didn’t cancel on me, got it done in between the storms, put mats down for my car and their equipment to protect the yard, they used heavy duty, professional equipment, meaning they got a huge job done in a matter of hours, they got here at 8:30am and were gone by 2pm. I was shocked at how quick these guys worked. Not only did they get the job done, but they also cleaned up just as well, there were hardly any wood chips left behind and we are sooooo excited to have a huge open backyard. There is so much space now! We can’t wait to get started on landscaping now that all of the hard stuff is done. Thank you guys for making our backyard manageable, we are so grateful!! First to remove a tree that was slowly damaging our fence and trampoline, and second to remove a stump that was a hazard to our children. They are efficient and clean up after they are finished. We had 3 very large sweet gum trees removed. They were right along the edge of the road in our subdivision. The team from Anstaett treated us fairly and quickly! They started at 8 AM and all tress were cut down and hauled away by 12:30! They not only cleaned our yard up but the surrounding neighbors yards, street and sidewalks as well. This includes all of the sweet gums that had fallen all over. The team was knowledgeable and experienced. Every tree went exactly as they planned for it to fall. There have been other companies out and none of the others could tell what kind of tree is in our front yard because it's bare right now. This is the first company that could tell us what it is. I highly recommend this company for any tree work you need. Their integrity and dedication are outstanding!

Kevin and his crew did an outstanding job. Kevin responded to my text request very quickly and was willing to come over and give me an estimate sooner than I was ready. He was able to fit this non-emergency job into his schedule 11 days later (Thanksgiving fell in the middle of this.) It was s a tricky job due to the location of the tree which wasn’t accessible for crane use. Safety was obviously a concern of theirs, not only for themselves but also my property. They did a great job of not tearing up my yard or destroying my fence. I will definitely use them in the future if I have tree needs. I loved the GoPro video Kevin took of the whole process.

This company gives nothing but 10/10 professional service! Friendly, professional, punctual. We recently moved into a new home and it had a red oak doing poorly due to previous owners damaging the root system. How do I know this? Because when Anstaetts tree service came out he knew exactly why the tree was dieing and was incredibly knowledgeable and informative in giving his quote. This was an adult red oak tree that was dropping limbs and was threatening a propane tank, shed, and our home. It was sad to see it go but I was happy to have such a good team take care of it. They were able to come out and get the tree downed, brush moved and logs in a place for easy access for fire wood use. Will absolutely be contacting this company for any future tree service needed.

Today, we had a mammoth oak tree removed by Anstaett's, and it was quite the operation. I received a reco for Anstaetts from 2 neighbors and I'm glad I called them. Kevin and his crew removed 2 trees (40' pine next to house and 30' ash) and trimmed several others for me. During his initial visit to provide a quote, he was polite, informative and most importantly did NOT go for a money grab. I had several Emerald Ash trees that I have been treating for 10+ years which started to shed limbs. I expressed concern to him about them, he carefully looked them over and suggested trimming some of the dead branches vs. cutting the trees down. That's honesty vs. greed!!! He clearly pointed out some landscaping that would unavoidably receive some damage because of the proximity to the trees and absolute need to traverse it with his equipment so I could make an informed decision. He was very communicative prior to the job, providing timing updates based on weather and even sent me pictures of heavy duty pads he would use to further protect my yard from all the rain we had. Kevin and crew were efficient and were careful of my landscaping as much as possible. They cleaned up all the cuttings and even raked our yard better than what it looked like when they showed up. Anstaetts is now in my contacts and if I need tree service in the future, they will be my first and likely only call. Can't recommend them any more highly than that and I'm a very picky individual. Kevin and his crew did a large scale residential project for us yesterday. The job included removal of 8 mature Bradford pears, a big dead pine along with some dead ash trees. They also cleared out fallen dead trees on our property. They are the hardest working crew I’ve seen in a long time…tree ninjas! They were courteous and efficient. A great team. If I could give Anstaett Tree more than 5 stars I would! Can’t say enough how impressed we were with Alex and his crew. From his quick response to our inquiry, stopping by the same day to look at our trees and giving us a quote, Alex gave us his honest opinion about a tree we had originally only wanted a limp removed. Informed us the tree was in bad shape and in danger of hitting our house. Turns out he was correct, tree was almost completely rotted inside and it was a matter of time before it most likely fell on our deck and house. Alex was in constant contact with us as weather didn’t cooperate for our original date, called to come and check the wetness of our yard before deciding on another date to do the work as to make sure his equipment wouldn’t tear up the yard. Showed up on time, got to work immediately, never stopped working unless it was to inform us of what they were doing, all 3 of them worked hard for 7 hours taking down 3 large trees, cleaning everything ( which in itself was a relief to us) Would definitely recommend them for any tree services you may need. We were impressed with Anstaetts Tree Service. Kevin came to our house the same day I asked about getting an estimate, and we were scheduled a week later. They even showed up a few minutes early on the day of the job. Kevin and his crew are friendly, knowledgeable, organized, accomodating, and flexible with changing plans during the job. They even dropped a scary, unsafe tree that wasn't in the plan, before they finished for the day. Kevin moved about 50 railroad ties for us with his ditch witch, and if there was a moment between trees or moving to a different area, Chris was using a leaf blower to clean up the leaves in the yard. These guys were awesome! I am sure we will be seeing them again in the future.

I hired another company a few years back and although they did an OK job, now I know what an amazing job looks like. These guys are extremely professional, work quickly and efficiently, very reasonably priced, and pay attention to detail. They did a wonderful job of cleaning everything up after they were done. It was a very muddy, wet day and the precautions that they took protected my yard from damage. I have never seen such a great job on the stump grinding. You can’t even tell a tree was there. I would definitely use Alex on any of my tree needs he is very knowledgeable and wants to do what is best for the trees and also informs the homeowner on why he recommends certain things. His cleanup is amazing can’t hardly tell he was in your yard other that you might be missing some trees if they were doing tree removals. I like watching his YouTube channel. So watching him work in person is a bonus.
Kevin and his team are the best I’ve ever worked with. He is extremely professional and helpful. His team does great work and is fairly priced and is willing to give multiple pricing options if you aren’t quite sure how much work you want done. When grinding one of our stumps he discovered a wasp nest. He put on his bee suite and got the job done. He let me know there was a nest there after he already finished the job. I feel like this is going above and beyond. On another occasion he took down a tree for us that was right next to a fence & power line and leaning into our neighbors property right over their shed. We needed a pear tree removed from our front yard. We received 3 quotes and they provided us with a quote that was a 1/3 of the price of the others and they were by far the most professional. They did an amazing job and there was not a single leaf left in our yard! We would highly recommend them!

Anstaetts Tree Service was a Great company to get our tree removal and pruning/trimming completed. Kevin was professional, easy to work with and his communication was great. He called shortly after I reached out for an estimate and was at our house the next day. He was very upfront, helpful, open and honest about everything. We had some weather come up the day we were scheduled for our project. He reached out several days ahead to communicate and check in about the plan if weather would keep them from being able to come out. He checked in the morning of and was quick to reschedule because the weather was not safe for him and his crew. He was out 2 days later and punctual. He checked in to ensure we were still on the same page and was able to add an additional tree take down that we hadn’t originally discussed. He and his crew got straight to work and worked so hard the whole time. They were all very nice. Clean up looked wonderful. You would have never known all that work had happened! He showed me around and explained everything before leaving to make sure we were happy. Would highly recommend and will definitely use them again in the future when the need arises.

Impressive from first contact to the incredible work Kevin and his men did for us. They took out a large, tall hollow tree on a hillside leaning toward our cabin, a large limb twisted and caught in trees at a 90deg angle near the cabin and several other trees that endangered our cabin in the event of high winds. The crew moved all the logs to an area on our property easy for us to use. Their cleanup is remarkable - there’s literally no gouges in our yard. I called Kevin’s company in the blind and we are truly grateful to have found them. Honest, dependable and excellent in their craft. Kevin is one of those people you hope never retires. The Anstaett team did an extensive project for my neighbors and after watching their drive and professionalism in completing the work, I walked over and asked if they could quote a few trees I needed to have removed. EXTREMELY HAPPY with the complete process from the initial estimate to removal of tree. Kevin is an industry expert and I felt comfortable with both the removal recommendation as well as price. I had an extra large decaying tree in a difficult location that posed a threat to the house and was removed via crane due to location, integrity of tree, and crew safety. This was my first experience getting tree work. Kevin and his team took care of a dead willow on my property, ready to fall at any minute. They truly went above & beyond removing all the branches/scrap afterwards, even blowing away the saw dust, which I didn't even ask for or expect! Anstaetts Tree Service did an impressive job removing our humongous tree that was very close to the back of the house. They came in and took the limbs off, and then took it down. I hated to lose such a beautiful tree, but I was reassured that the tree was unhealthy. That made me feel better about having it removed. The area was totally cleaned up after the job. Wow, this company was a great choice for my tree removal and pruning. They showed up on time and the crew was great. All 5 of them worked hard for almost 8 hours without a break. They took down tree after tree without any problems ( they took down 5 trees plus alot of trimming). I'm going to have them back next year for some trimming on some other trees. Alex was very professional and up front with everything that needed done. He came out and gave me an estimate and we agreed on the work. To say that Alex is gifted is an understatement. Not only does he have excellent knowledge of trees, but his climbing and trimming talents are superior in every way imaginable. I had a huge tree that one of the big limbs split. It didn’t fall but the crack that kept getting bigger and bigger. If it had fallen it would have landed on my neighbors shed. They came out and took it down right away. Except for a little saw dust on the ground you would never know they where there. They cleaned up everything. Very nice , polite, and professional.
There are not enough stars to express our satisfaction with Anstaett's Tree Service. There are a lot of "tree" companies out there and most you should stay away from. As an independent insurance agent I can tell you about the risk you take when hiring a "cheap" tree service. You get what you pay for. In this case the amount spent to trim our sixty foot maple tree that is less than twenty feet from our home, was absolutely worth every dollar.

Our 6 month-old kitten got stuck in a 60 feet high in an 100 feet high tree. In fact he sent someone the very same evening, gave us an estimate and got us scheduled same week. They arrived as promised and used all the necessary safety precautions. Kevin and his team did an excellent job! I called him one day and he happen to be in the area and stopped by same day to give me a quote. We then arranged for the work to be done in about a week. He mentioned if a job ended early, he could come sooner. The very next day, they were available later in the day. We had 2 large precarious trees. We had 2 precarious large trees to take down. 1 over a shed and the other over our garage. Both were dead and not climbable. His team did an excellent job taking them down, cutting them up and clearing the mess. They were professional and extremely skilled. I highly recommend and will use them again!!
When I need tree trimming or removal I only use Anstaetts tree service. Always prompt and professional with an honest price. Most recently, when I called for service, they recommended an option that actually cost me much less and gave me a way better result. When it comes to a professional tree service this is the guys you want! They are awesome! Cheaper than everyone else and I was amazed that they were setup removed a birch tree and 3 70 ft oaks in like 5 hrs with no debris left behind that’s right like 5 hrs of work and they were all gone. Watched many tree services work my neighbors yards for days removing trees these guys were in and out with no issues and were way cheaper than the other guys. I would recommend these guys over everyone else you won’t get a more professional company than this!

Long story short they came back about a week later we had a big tree over are house and deck not one piece hit are house or deck and when they were done we did not have to pick up anything after them you would never know they we in are yard... I wanted a limb removed that was hanging over my garage. Kevin gave me a very fair estimate and timeline for completion. His communication was excellent and he not only removed the limb I was concerned about but, after consulting with me, others that could have been a problem later on.
